UiPath RPA Integration & Training
Supporting a major air conditioning manufacturer (D Company) in Thailand to transition from manual reporting to automated workflow management, including license setup and internal developer enablement.
Task Accuracy
Reduction in manual data entry errors.
Processing Time
Decrease in daily transaction processing duration.
Internal Team Growth
Self-sustainable RPA governance model.
Background & Challenges
The client, a major manufacturing entity in Thailand, was processing high volumes of daily warehouse inventory, component logistics, and production scheduling reports manually. Key challenges included:
- Repetitive manual data extraction from legacy systems, leading to human bottlenecks.
- Increased risk of transcription errors affecting critical manufacturing inventory counts.
- Lack of in-house automation skills, making the organization heavily dependent on external IT vendors for simple routine adjustments.
Our Approach & Solution
Crescent IT delivered a comprehensive program covering licensing, developer enablement training, and targeted automation implementation:
1. Developer Enablement
Conducted intensive, custom UiPath training bootcamps for the client's internal IT and operation engineers, enabling them to build and troubleshoot robots independently.
2. Workflow Automation
Developed key robotic automation scripts for inventory reconciliation, SAP ledger entry, and multi-supplier shipping notice processing.
Impact
By deploying optimized UiPath licenses combined with direct training, the manufacturer successfully established a self-sustaining Center of Excellence (CoE). The automation bots now handle core routine transactional workflows, allowing operations personnel to focus on higher-value manufacturing logistics. Similar programs have been implemented for other key players, such as F company and R company in Thailand.
